The mirror finish is achieved through multiple grinding and polishing processes, resulting in a highly smooth and reflective stainless steel surface, resembling a mirror.

Products and Applications:

Comparison between 304 and 316 grades:

304 grade:

Advantages: Widely used in interior mirror decoration, it offers excellent polishing properties, achieves high reflectivity, and is relatively low cost. It maintains its gloss for a long time under normal indoor conditions.

Disadvantages: Outdoors or in humid, chloride-rich environments, mirror-finished 304 stainless steel is prone to an “orange peel” effect or premature pitting, affecting its aesthetics.

316 Grades:

Advantages: In corrosive environments (such as marine climates and areas exposed to acid rain), 316 mirror stainless steel maintains its gloss and corrosion resistance better, making it less susceptible to rust and surface defects. Its enhanced oxidation resistance allows it to maintain its mirror finish even in harsh environments.

Disadvantages: Highest cost and relatively more difficult to polish.
