Stainless steel is a family of steel alloys containing at least 10.5% chromium. Most grades used in construction also contain a certain percentage of nickel, and may have additions of manganese, molybdenum, or other elements for special properties. Stainless steel is increasingly used in both interior and exterior architectural applications due to its appearance, strength, and high corrosion resistance.
Stainless steel’s versatility allows it to adapt to a variety of design styles, from minimalist to industrial, and even blend with traditional elements. This adaptability allows architects to realize a wide range of design visions without compromising material properties, thereby enhancing the overall aesthetic and functionality of the building.
Stainless steel sheet is one of the most commonly used materials for architectural and interior metal decoration. Stainless steel is strong, formable, durable and easy to maintain. It can be cut, bent, welded, fabricated and finished into a variety of different forms including panels, profiles, trims, cladding systems, elevator interiors, door frames, furniture components, handrails, signage and much more. The metal can be finished in a polished mirror, brushed or brushed and polished manner to give it the desired look.
Stainless Steel Sheets for decorative use are evaluated not only by their mechanical properties but also by aesthetic possibilities. Various surface finishes are available to create diverse designs, from polished mirror surface to fine brushed surface, from artistic etched designs to mimic water ripple surface, to superior PVD coated colors.
Key advantages of stainless steel sheet include:
We can make stainless steel sheets according to your required dimensions, and samples of surface finish, colors etc. and also according to your drawings and how you intend to install them.
Choosing the appropriate stainless steel grade is crucial in balancing aesthetic value, corrosion resistance, processing ease and project cost. The grades INOXFURT METAL commonly uses for architectural purposes are 304, 304L, 316 and 430 stainless steel.
304 Stainless Steel:
304 stainless steel is the most commonly used austenitic stainless steel grade. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, and it welds well. This grade of stainless steel is commonly used for architectural interior and exterior applications.
Possible uses for this product are: wall panels, elevator cladding, door frames, trims, handrails, furniture, hotel lobby decoration, commercial interiors, metalwork decoration.
304L Stainless Steel:
304L is the low carbon version of 304 and is recommended for components that are to be heavily welded. Its lower carbon content makes 304L more resistant to weld activation corrosion than 304.
LUBRIPLATE 1200W is suitable for large fabricated panels, welded decorative items, custom made stainless steel assemblies and generally any item requiring stable post weld performance.
316 Stainless Steel:
316 stainless steel contains molybdenum, which provides a greater level of corrosion resistance over 304 stainless steel in more severe environments. Due to the higher corrosion resistance, 316 is recommended for use in coastal areas, humid environments, marine environments, industrial environments and applications where there is a greater risk of corrosion.
We recommend using this metal in exterior wall cladding, decorating a coastal hotel, outside handrails in public spaces, public facilities such as showers etc, bathroom accessories, near the marine and high end architectural metalwork that requires increased durability.
430 Stainless Steel:
430 stainless steel is a ferritic stainless steel with good decorative finish, cost-effective material structure. It has lower corrosion resistance than 304 and 316 stainless steels, therefore is recommended for indoor decorative use in dry, non-corrosive environment.
Suitable applications for this material are interior trims, decorative strips, cabinet panels, appliance panels, indoor wall design and low cost interior decoration projects.

Common application areas include:
Regular Sizes (mm): 1000×2000, 1219×2438 (4×8 ft), 1219×3048 (4×10 ft)
Thickness Range (mm): 0.3mm – 6.0mm, with custom thicknesses available.
Widths (mm): 1000, 1219, 1500, and customizable upon request.
Lengths (mm): 2000, 2438, 3048, 4000, and customizable to any length required by the project.
Surface Finishes: Brushed (Hairline/HL), Mirror (Mirror/8K), Bead Blasted, Vibration, Water Ripple, Etched, Embossed, various plating and antique finishes.
Colors: Silvery white (natural stainless steel), and PVD-coated colors such as gold, rose gold, black, bronze, champagne gold, coffee gold, and gunmetal.
Applications: Architectural decoration, home appliances, kitchenware, elevators, medical equipment, and chemical industries.
Packaging: PVC protective film + wooden box/iron frame.
Construction: Single-layer board or composite board.
The most commonly used plating process for stainless steel is PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). This environmentally friendly vacuum coating process vaporizes metal in a vacuum and deposits a thin but hard layer of metal or metal compound onto the stainless steel surface, imparting a variety of colors. It does not use electroplating fluids and produces zero emissions.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Grades 304 and 316, in particular, are resistant to a wide range of corrosive media, ensuring long-term aesthetics and service life.
Excellent Mechanical Properties: High strength, hardness, and resistance to deformation make them suitable for load-bearing and high-strength applications.
Various Surface Finishes: A variety of finishes, including brushed, mirrored, sandblasted, and etched, as well as PVD coatings, are available to meet diverse design needs.
Easy to Clean and Maintain: The dense surface resists dirt and facilitates daily cleaning.
Environmentally Recyclable: This green material is 100% recyclable.
